Leeward Kai Canoe Club was founded in 1967 by Henry & Edith Van Gieson. *more history to follow* LKCC provides the residents of the Waianae coast, a positive sporting and cultural activity that impacts all sectors of the Waianae community.  LKCC presently practices at the Nanakuli Beach Park on the Leeward coast of O'ahu.
